Below features Dodie (left) and Jasper (right) from a friend’s novel series in progress. These characters are important to the series, and represent their changes from the start of the series as teenagers to adults.

Miscellaneous Digital Academic Works (2022)

Left: Stamp Series: P!nk (Procreate, 2022)

For this project, we were tasked with creating four stamp designs of an artist or music genre with an art movement. I chose P!nk/Punk Pop and the Feminist Art Movement. I felt both of these genres unified well together and stood for similar messages. All the typography is hand-written. The lyrics are from "Just Like Fire", "That's All I Know So Far", "What About Us?", and "Irrelevant".

This typographic poster features lyrics from "4 Tequilas Down" by Dodie, experimenting with visual hierarchy and color.

We were tasked to create an animal using the expressive markings of the five adjectives that described ourselves. I choose affectionate, detail-oriented, guarded, powerful, and whimsical. For the design itself, I played with the strong stance of a bear and the cuddliness of a teddy bear. 

TRADITIONAL ART 

Charcoal Academic Works (2021-2022)

These works feature various techniques and observations using charcoal. The first piece on the left uses a reduction, erasing to reveal the highlights and contrast. The next piece features an observation of a hallway. The last piece is a self-portrait inspired by the words ‘Blissful’ and ‘Anxiety’ that were drawn at random.
